Uber frauds it's drivers out of what little they have to fill the pockets of greedy executives. Even to the point where they pair drivers with passengers at locations that are inaccurate. After canceling on the passenger and/or driver twice, Uber will still collect on the transaction fees and claim that it was a network error even through there is plenty of evidence to show that drivers arrive to the correct location that was provided. A mere 4 dollars, apparently they need it more than the drivers. Imagine how many drivers they scam out of their own money. Ratings are faked. The app uses your microphone and your camera in the car to monitor your progress incase they can send you referral emails in the middle of conversations with passengers about joining uber, but not when they want to moderate the way "passengers" behave or conduct themselves. Want to use a gas card that they provide for you? Don't bother, they wait to charge you a week later in order to put you in the negative. Discounts don't apply compared to the amount they're able to place you in the middle of no where without any potential passengers to get you back to your hub; forcing you to drive backwards and eventually in circles or wasting gas. It's not a social media app, the drivers are employees. The entire service would improve without the ranking system all together with a decent salary. Here you go Mr. CEO, "Did you arrive at your destination?" Yes, No Comment below. That's it. No more contrived conversations that distracts drivers and causes potential accidents just for the sake of hire ratings. Duuuuuhhhhooooyyyyy. #1 cause of car accidents is distracted driving and Uber wants to promote that? Anybody? Hello?

Uber retaliation

AUTHOR: Driver - (United States)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 30, 2019

This app is a scam. The app rips off drivers at whatever the cost. Let the FTC know even though they’re too incompetent to really do anything about it. The surges are fake and disappear when you drive towards them. The bonuses are fake since it’s money that already belongs to the drivers that Uber holds on to while refusing to pair you enough times to actually complete the "bonus” so they can collect on your hard work.

The ratings are fake since uber uses it to exploit and then throw away drivers. Even after waiting an hour in the center of Los Angeles I would watch 5 people get into uber cars while I sit and wait for nothing. This company is only good for stealing what little money drivers have and put it in their own pockets. Made less than minimum wage, currently I’m up 4 dollars an hour.

You’ve been warned. After reporting it to customer service they hung up on me and then lowered my rating. It’s really pathetic how uber limits drivers no matter how many hours you work just so they can exploit and sabotage their own work force. Every time I complain they lower my rating and stop pairing me. They even shut down my account after I wanted to be removed from LAX.

Not an Uber driver

AUTHOR: Jerry - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, April 12, 2018

I received a notice from an old credit card company that RAISER LLC was attempting to withdraw $0.15 from my account.  That card has been closed for over a year, so obviously the effort was unsuccessful.  But when I did a search on them, I find that they are an Uber associate and this affects Uber drivers.

I'm not an Uber driver and have never been one nor ever tried to be one.  This means this company is trying to tap into peoples accounts that have nothing to do with Uber at all.  It doesn't affect me in any way, other than disturb me knowing they tried without my permission or knowledge of who they are.
