Ray P Gailitis MD Dr. Raymond Gailitis, MD - Coral Springs, Florida. 

I had problems with Dr. Ray Gailitis, and won't be returning due to the unpleasantness dealing with Mary Ann of his office.  I went in for a routine eye exam that would have been fully covered by my insurance.  At the end of my exam, the doctor asked me if I had any problems.  I told him sometimes at the end of a long day at work staring at a monitor my vision get blurry.  He said just put in eye drops to lubricate them.  When I got my insurance claim, I was charged a deductible because Mary Ann had filed my claim as a medical issue due to the blurry eyes comment.  My insurance rep said I'd get my deductible back if the claim was re-filed as an eye exam.  When I called Mary Ann and asked her to re-file, she got nasty about it and refused.. The insurance rep also talked to her but she had the same attitude.  I had to request a hearing with the insurance company appeals board and plead my case to get my $50 deductible back.  They sided with me, but it took several months before my money was returned.  I won't be back to due to this one unpleasant person there.
