I purchased the Cat Sketch Duvet Set from the online company Ray's Cats. This is also the same online company as Adorable Cats. I suspect it is also affiliated with another online company called Hello Moa, but I am not positive about that.

Before I purchased this duvet set, I looked through the site thoroughly, read all the reviews as well as their FAQ and exchange/return policy. I then went ahead and purchased this product.

I received the duvet set on December 27, noticing that it was shipped from Hong Kong. Upon opening it, I realized there were numerous ink spot flaws throughout the entire duvet. The flaws were mostly on the background of the design, but there were many throughout the design as well. The largest one is a black "blob" of ink, approximately 1.5cm. It is on the background, next to the design right in the middle of the duvet. It's so distracting, that one notices this flaw before noticing the design itself.

I took photos of many of these flaws, including the big one on the front. I contacted the company by email and attached the photos the same day I received it. I asked for an exchange of the set because of the flaws.

Later that evening, I received an email from Georgette, apologizing for the flaws. She started she already informed the "Operations Team" about this problem and she would contact me as soon as she received a reply.

On December 29 and 31, I emailed Georgette again asking if she knew how long it would be before she heard from the operations team. I received Georgette's reply on January 2, stating that it was still under investigation, and they were comparing the design to the photos I sent.

Between December 30 and January 18, I sent another email to Georgette, but I don't know the exact date. I said that I felt I had been more than patient, and that instead of an exchange I would now like a complete refund.

I received another email from Georgette on January 18, saying my order was not eligible for an exchange as they decided the ink spots are part of the artwork. Then, she offered me a 20% discount on my next order. I wrote back saying I totally disagreed with this decision and that I would be contacting the appropriate organizations to complain about this company if they didn't see fit to at least exchange the duvet. I also said that no where on the website (rayscats.com) does it mention there is a possibility of ink flaws as part of the "design." I feel this is false advertising, especially as the website mentions exchanges/returns, and that I would let these organizations know about it, if a positive resolution cannot be achieved.

As of today, January 31, I have not had any other correspondence from Georgette or the company. So, I am writing to you to file a report against this company.

Thank you.
