Realty Trade led us to believe they would sell our timeshare within 6 months or our money would be refunded. The contract also says if no offer was given in that time period and we notified them within 10 days of contract ending we would receive our money back.

We notified them by email and certified letter within the last 10 days of the contract that we wanted our money back because we received no offers.

I received a call after our request for a refund from a Realty Trade representative saying that we had received an offer and had I been checking spam on my computer. I told her that I've checked our regular email and spam every day since we contracted with them and no offer has come to us. She then said she would email me the offer. That was on 8/31/09 and to date I have received nothing from her.

I emailed last week to Ashley Simpson who was the Realty Trade representative that we contracted with. I let him know we were ready to go to the better business bureau and our attorney to retrieve our money if necessary.

I have not heard back from him or anyone from Realty Trade to date.

We followed the contract rules to the tee but they have not. I urge anyone thinking of selling a timeshare not to use Realty Trade.

If you are selling a timeshare, Do Not give any money up front. Let the company take the money at time of sale. You'll find out that most won't be interested in doing that.

100% Client Satisfaction

AUTHOR: RT Escalated Claims - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, October 01, 2009
We strive for 100% client
satisfaction.  If you are not 100% satisfied, please email <<urgent@realtytrade.com>> to speak with
a dedicated customer service representative.  All complaints will be handled
professionally and quickly.  By filing reports with this site and other similar
sites, as well as the Attorney General, it minimizes the chances that you will
receive 100% of your money back, due to the use of additional resources to
settle a claim.

The details of our refund policy are outlined in the
Realty Trade Marketing and Advertising agreement, that we have our clients sign.
It is NOT a guarantee to SELL the property, but rather a guarantee to generate
offers and interest on your property. There are instances and circumstances that
occur in which we are unable to generate an offer for a property due to market
saturation or presenting a property that does not create interest on our
network.  If this happens with your property, please contact us at this email
address: <<urgent@realtytrade.com>> and we will
address your concerns properly and issue a refund according to the terms and
conditions of the marketing agreement.

With over 18,000 clients, there
are occasional issues that may arise, as with any large organization, but we do
everything within our power to satisfy all clients.

Again, please email
<<urgent@realtytrade.com>>
with your grievance and addressed professionally and quickly.

Thank you
for your cooperation.
