Red shield protection Dont want to pay the 1500$ to fix my car Ks Ks

Avoid at all cost!!! I bought their protection plan when I got my last car and tried to use it twice. The first time they refused coverage. Now, the second time I'm trying to use it, my car has been sitting in the shop at the dealership for 5 days and they cannot start working on it because Red Shield needs to send an adjuster out to inspect the car to make sure the claim is real. In the mean time I have to wait with no car to drive! Also, I was told that they don't pay for the work up front and that I will need to be able to pay it in full and they will (eventually) reimburse me. So if you don't have the money to cover the repairs, then you won't be able to use the coverage. So again... avoid them.

Update: After 10 days have passed they finally told me that they will not cover the problems with the car. I had faulty wiring in my brake light (they don't cover any electrical wiring) and my lower control arm needed replacing. They said that since I had the car for less than a year the control arm must have been damaged before I bought it. Therefore, if you get this coverage with a used car they will reject most repairs because it might have been there before you bought it. So overall, my car has been in the shop for 10 days before they refused the repair work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
