A character purporting to be Italian,pulled up to me in a carpark and asked how long it would take to get to Stansted airport.He then gave me some tale about having,surplus samples in his car,which would cost him money to take back to Italy.He told me they were designer leather jackets made in Italy.He
told me that I could have them for nothing.Then after I had accepted them,he began saying about how he was short of ready cash.
He then suggested that the jackets were worth quite a lot.The end result being that I parted company with 150 for 5 leather jackets.While 30 each for a leather jacket seems very reasonable.The fact is they are not what they were described as,and although I admit I was a bit naive,I feel as though I've been conned.
The moral of this story is."If someone approaches you with a similar story, do not get involved.The jackets had R.G.A.Reportage on the labels,but were probably made in China and not Milan.This took place in a super market carpark ,in Peterborough ,Cambridgeshire,U.K.
