Rich Dad Coaching Gives You the Same Information as in Robert's Books, Only Over the Sandy Utah

Rich Dad Poor Dad material is very useful information, so I signed up for Rich Dad Coaching since it appeared to be part of the franchise. unfortunately Rich Dad Coaching doesn't give me anything more than what I learned in the books.

I'll give you a run down of what happened along the way so you know what to expect if you sign up with them.

I heard about Rich Dad Coaching multiple times through the [presumably] unrelated and free RichDadWorld.com webinars. I decided to take the $3,000 plunge and see if I could have them accellerate my business with coaching. So, I signed up to get a call from their sales team.

The first time they called, I started to talk to them and within seconds they hung up. I figured that they probably were just having technical trouble.

They called me back later on, and again after a few seconds of talking, they again hung up. Perhaps it really was a technical issue, I thought.

The third time they called, I simply said, "hello." They started talking and I was never hung up on. Now i have to wonder if it really was a technical issue.

During that phone call I spoke with the rep, and I told him to call the following day so I could decide if the program was the right decision for me. He was supportive of my decision, and called back the next day.

On the next call, I asked him a bunch of questions, and then decided to take the plunge to pay $599 each month for 5 months so I could get the 12 months of caoching. Originally I thought I was getting the Entraprenuereal Coaching, but instead I got a different program for my $3,000.

They mailed me an empty Rich Dad Coaching binder so I could put my coursework in it. They also included a copy of the new Cashflow 101 game. [~$50 for the game on Amazon] I also gained access to their online coaching which I thought was for Entraprenureal Coaching.

So, I started reading through the mountain of information for the course, watching the videos, and listening to audio, and not once did it teach me anything I hadn't read in Robert Kiyosaki's books.

After I had worked through some of the information, I noticed that they set me up with the wrong program. [Choose To Be Rich Foundational Course, not Entraprenureal Coaching] I figured that maybe the course could be helpful later on with the group meetings or resource line, so I stayed with the current program.

The first group program I joined was the "Bonus Session" where we just get a prelude to the course. It was pretty useless.

There were homework assignments to turn in for the course, so at this point I completed them all. I asked the resource line to give me a critique. They did, and some of the information was useful, but no where near $3,000 useful.

I still held out hope for the program as I knew I could just run a chargeback on my credit card for the entire program if it continued to not be as described. So, I attended the first formal group session, and found that it was just more of the same stuff as in Robert's books.

Here we are at one week after that first formal group session, and a month into the course, and now I'm opting out.

Today I made a courtesy call to their customer service, and after about 10 mintues of waiting on hold, I spoke with a rep. For about half a minute I started to explain why I was calling and that the coaching was the same thing as what's in Rober's books. She promptly hung up on me.

You'd think that when speaking with a $3,000 customer they'd show me respect, but instead they hung up on me. I no longer think that these hang ups are technical issues, but instead they're intentional on their part.

I called back and left a message to return my call about the hangup and also my complaint. They haven't called me back, so I'm now proceeding with the chargeback process.
