They offer retirement accounts while in service and when people retire, they invest their money in high commision investments that may not be to the best interest of their clients.In my case, he recommended an annuity that had long surrender charges without properly explaining to me what kind of penalties I was going to be subject to.

So when I needed to take money out of this investment for a family situation I had to deal with, I got hit with thousands of dollars in penalty fees!
