 Richard J Goddeau, aka Rick Anthony Smith, former owner of Catskill Mountain Vapors, current owner of Proud Cloud Vapor Shop. I worked for "Rick" from June, 2016 to December, 2016. Claims he owns Proud Cloud Vapor Shop, web address www.proudcloudvaporshop.com. I worked on Rick's website, continuously adding products, designing it and fixing intentional "errors" caused by a previous "employee". Also ran the Facebook business page and dealt with numerous customer complaints. Rick promised to pay me for the work I did, which was done several hours a day, 7 days a week. Claimed his trust attorneys wouldn't allow him to pay me after I completed all the website work and continued adding productsv for him.

Rick offered to send me products as payment. Sometimes I would receive a few small items but was oftentimes told he mailed a package but it "must've gotten lost in the mail." Or he would use the fact that he's blind to try to get sympathy or change the topic to the abuse he supposedly suffered as a kid. These items didn't even come close to equaling $1/hr for all the work I did. I received numerous customer complaints on the Facebook business page, telling me they placed an order and never received it. These orders were high value orders. Rick would tell me he sent the customers their packages, but they would continue to claim he didn't.

When I finally realized this was becoming a common problem and that he was scamming people, I broke all ties to him and his business. It was then that he threatened me and another person he was doing the same things to, with a lawsuit for theft. We were accused of stealing the items he sent us, even though we both worked very hard for what was sent to us. We both have texts that prove the items were a thank you for our work. He has been slandering our names by telling people we stole from him. I discovered that Rick Anthony Smith, aka Richard Goddeau, has a history of conning people.

He conned people with his previous computer business, he was arrested for, charged with and found guilty of committing disability fraud, conned people when he was owner of Catskill Mountain Vapors and now as owner of Proud Cloud Vapor Shop. I discovered that he lives in Athens New York, even though he claims he only lives there part of the year. I discovered that the business address he gives for his business in Carson City, NV is actually the address of a tow yard. This is just a shortened version of what he does. There is plenty more. I do not know how he continues to get away with the scams he pulls, why no one holds him accountable. Instead, he continues to run www.proudcloudvaporshop.com where he steals money from customers.
