In 2009, our family owned small business performed window treatment services for Rio Vista Construction.  We did our part to allow them to open up the North Jersey Medical center in Oradel, New Jersey on Kinderkamack Road. We met all deadlines. It is now 3 1/2 years later and we still have a receivable account in the amount of $1,605.00 due to our company, Classic Blinds, Inc.

We have made hundreds of phone calls to Rio Vista over the last 3 1/2 years to get paid.  We even made an arrangement with them in 2010 that they would give us a small amount each month until they were paid in full, because they said they were struggling.  Living up to this agreement would have resulted in completing the payments to us by april, 2011.  

In october of 2011 they owed us $2,290.25, and we received a payment of 685.25, leaving a balance of $1,605.00.  Since then we have not received any other payments, and on the few times when we were able to speak to the accountant or the owner, we were told that maybe next month they could do something.   We feel we have been extremely patient, and have not charged interest or brought suit.  We would certainly like to have such a prominent and sucessfull large corporation live up to it's financial commitment to us.
