It has come to my attention that there was a false ripoff report added to this website in regard to my business. My name is Casey Clements and I am the owner of River Valley Meats, LLC.  The following is the false ripoff report that was made by my previous employer that just happens to be my current competitor:

"I was enjoying a nice day off from work when these two menin a pickup with a frezer in the back pulled in my drive way. The man said his name was Casey Clemons, and his partner was Chris Ray. They said that they did deliveries in my area and asked if I like to eat steak and chicken at home.  With out thinking, i said sure, and the next thing i know they have boxes of meat all over the place. I kept trying to tell them that i was not intertested, that i had a frezer full, and that  I was late to pick up my son. Long story short, I bought 2 big boxes of steak, for 389.00. they said if i didnt like any of the stuff i could call back to get a full refund.  I was in a hurry, and really just wanted them to go, and did not notice that they took the recpit back with them!  I called the Scott co. Health dept today and was informed that there is no record of a "river valley meats" ever having a Lic. in davenport or anywhere in Iowa! I have bought off the meat trucks before and it was d**n good, but this stuff is worthless, not even my dog would  eat it."

To begin, I do not work one-on-one in a truck with any of my employees, therefore, it is not possible that I ever performed a sales transaction involving Chris Ray and a customer. To be frank, Chris Ray parted ways with the company that I previously managed  which is owned by Tom Mesenbrink, thus leaving them to believe that he left to become my business partner; simply an employee. 

The ripoff report that was mad(above) states that River Valley Meats is not a licensed company and is located in Davenport, Iowa, this is false as well as it is stated on our receipts that we are located 2250 E. LeClaire Rd. Eldridge, Iowa 52748. As a legitimate business owner I follow the law which requires two carbon copies of a receipt per every transaction, as well as the buyers right to cancel which is located on the back of every receipt. 

As stated, River Valley Meats is a licensed business and has been inspected by all local and state agencies required by law. Below I will attach copies of both city and state licenses to clarify validity of River Valley Meats. If there are any concerns or questions please call our office at (563) 285-MEAT (6328).
