As I am based in Germany I did place a Pre-Purchase Inspection with Road Ready Certified. A Company recommend by Hemmings. The car I was interested in was a 1962 Corvette based in Penfield/New York. The inspection was quickly ordered on the internet and also within a week the inspection was done. I did receive a detailed report stating that the car was completly restored and like new. The car did arrvive beginning of June and surely it was not inspected. The Carburator of the car does not function well, the window winders and our parts did fall of if you did touch them. One wheel bearing was damaged that the car made a terrible noise and because of the damaged carburator the engine did get to much gasoline and did not function correct. So it cannot be that the car was inspected by Road Certify. So i really cannot recommend this company.

It is correct that I did receive the money back. But I have to spend over 15,000 Dollars in a FULLY restored car. Would the company have made a full inspection I would not have this major problem.

Finally I did get an answer from Road Ready. The MD did contact me and did apologize for what happend. The money for the inspection was transfered back to me and they will not use this inspector again.
