His own family member told us, he goes from town to town taking as much money as he can, from anyone he can, needless to say they do a HORRIBLE job. fort stockton/San Angelo, Texas

Robert Rodriguez is from San Angelo, Tx,he said he has a ranch in Ozona,Tx, but every other word coming from this man is a lie so who knows.

We hired Robert Rodriguez(R&R Construction) back in Dec.08,we hired him to do an addition to our home, a 2 living areas,a bedroom and a bathroom. The total was under $18,000, we agreed to give him half the money and as the job was getting completed, we'd give him quarter of the final half and then when the job was done we'd give him the rest.

He also sold us an a/c for $5,000 he asked for half of that, and then the other half we would give it to him when it was installed.He Robert said the job would be done in about a month. The holidays came around and they didn't work for a couple of weeks, we let that go, we just figured it was because of the holidays, after the holidays, he would only send his dad and a couple of other men which was taking longer than we agreed,but we just decided to let it be.

In Feb, we decided we didn't want the a/c and we let Robert Know he said he would just add those $2,500 to the balance for the house I had a bad feeling about that but we agreed with him.(I wish I wouldn't have).

In mid March 09 he claimed he needed money for material, and this way he could hurry up and finish up my house "I really have to finish up here" I reminded him what the agreement was and he insisted that he needed the money for material. I spoke to my husband about this and he gave me the choice since he was working. So I gave Robert $2,000(keep in mind this man is very good at deceiving he knows how to carry conversation both my husband and I are very young, honest we are never around people like this, we really just don't have an eye for this kind of people).Well I was leaving town for a few days and my husband was working graveyard shift that week(Robert knew all this)so a couple days later he sends his girlfriend who claimed Robert send her to pick up "the money". My husband thought I didn't give him the $2,000 so he gave her $2,000 MORE! that was lack of communication on our part, so we let that go, but by this time I hated Robert.

April,May,June,July,they only worked because I kept calling and started chasing his girlfriend. August, he changed all his info and ran away with most of our money.

That is actually not the worst of it, the job they did is horrible! We hired someone reliable(which mean more $$$) not only to finish Robert's unfinished work, but he is trying to fix what Robert did, he says our house is not sturdy and they did a very poor job. HE FEARS FOR OUR SAFETY!!! I have a little child, and this is not fair! I cannot believe this happened to us, but it did and I don't want it to happen to anyone else. Please beware of this individual.

He also has a son Robert Rodriguez Jr. from Del Rio Tx, and he is the same way.

I am currently researching as to what can be legally done about this.
