Bob Skertich with his company name at that time, NapCon Roofing & Coating Services, replaced our roof in 1995. It was supposed to be a complete tear off with replacement of rotten wood.  It leaked. Within the first year, he came back and fixed major leaks by the front door.  He was working under yet another name at the time, but I was able to find him. After that he was untraceable, and we have subsequently had another roofer both analyze the mistakes made by Bob, and repair as much as possible. Mistakes that were documented by the second roofer included incorrect overlap, improperly installed shingles, exposed nails, improperly installed/incomplete valleys, absence of ice/water shield that was specified in the original contract, lack of required overhang, lack of replacement of rotten wood specified in the contract, and out of code overhangs - aside from the leaking in many locations. We have his report and pictures. We have probably spent $2,000 in repairs alone, still have leaks and still need a new roof. Do not use this "roofer".
