Ronald K. Jefcoat was hired as a manager of TJ's Western and Work Ware back in August, 1994. He and the owners daughter, Tina Jefocat, started dating soon after he started working there and later married. Ronald Jefcoat was trusted to run the family business (which is in the wife's mothers name, Jean Holder) and was trusted at this job for almost 14 years.
All through the years Ronald told Jean and Tina that business was not very good and conned Jean Holder into letting him borrow money for the business against the building in which she also owns. In 2007, Jean and Tina got suspecious about some things and decided to check the books at the business and found that Ronald Jefcoat had been embezzling close to $300,000 a year from the business for his own personal use.
The business was doing over a million dollars a year and yet Ronald Jefcoat had the business owing $150,000 in bank loans and $100,0000 in his own personal loans thru the business. His bank accounts show him to have deposited over $100,000 in his personal checking account in which Tina Jefcoat never had access to, within just 3 months in 2006. Jan, feb, and march of 2006. When confronted about all of this he went back into the store and took all the cash x out reports so that nobody could see all the cash he had stolen and he also took the credit card reports.
Tina Jefcoat also found out that Ronald Jefcoat was recieving refund checks from their insurance on her medications she paid for every month out of her own money and he had told her that insurance did not cover those costs. He was taking that $350 and depositing it into his personal checking account as well. Since being seperated Ronald Jefcoats financial statements show him having over 600,000 in personal bank accounts, IRAs, CDs, Mutual Funds and other investments in which he is claiming is "inheritance" that he will recieve once his mother dies.
He is also opening himself a new western store "Boot Country" about 300 yards from TJs Western Ware to try to put them out of business. This man is a con artist that has many people fooled. He needs to repay the money he owes TJs Western Ware!!! People do not be fooled by this man, he will rip you off in a heartbeat as he did this innocent mother and daughter.

My wife and I, Larry and Lana Carol Jefcoat own BOOT COUNTRY(601-336-5494) 6467 HWY 49, HATTISBURG, MS. This can be proved at city hall in Hattisburg.
After Ronald was asked to leave tj's; Lana Carol and I, with the support of Ronald's family, saw that Ronald needed a flexible job where he could continue to care for his 3 children, as he had done since they came home from from the hospital.
Working at BOOT COUNTRY, Ronald's flexible schedule allows him to see that the children are clothed properly, meals are provided, lessons are done, get to school on time, and attend church.
Ronald Jefcoat is the manager of BOOT COUNTRY. His cell number was illegally posted on the ripoff report. You may contact him at that number (601-297-4678)

I don't think, if a business owner is told that the business is NOT DOING VERY GOOD, they would sign loan papers, until a report was done to see where improvements could be made. This would be good business sense, not trust or mistrust. Managers cannot borrow against a business!
she wants Ronald's inheritance money, quote:"that he will receive once his Mother dies". What kind of money-hungry sick person, would say this about a wonderful 83 year young lady.
Ronald served 4 years in the Army, two of those years were in Germany, and 12 years in the Army National Guard. While in the Army, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant. He also received the Adie Murphy Leadership award. While in the National Guard, he was promoted to Captian and served as company commander.
To learn more about Ronald; ask his faimly, including his children, his church family, their horse circle friends, or any of his former employers. All the employees that were with Ronald at tj's are working with us at BOOT COUNTRY. Thanks for their cofidence in Lana Carol and me, as owners, and Ronald's ability to successfully manage a business.
A very positive note, through this ripoff report, many of the customers of Ronald's and the other formerly tj's employees, know where they are located and are shopping at BOOT COUNTRY.
