If you are looking to move to Downtown Los Angeles stay away from the Roosevelt Lofts operated by Greystar.

Overall this property is an old dump with horrible management and they try to make the building seem like a super upscale living experience. I honestly would not live here for half of what I am paying now. IT SUCKS!

Cassie Bostic is the RUDE property manager here. She puts on a fake smile but is completely rude and passive. If you have any problems she will most likely brush them off and tell you it will be taken care of which means it will never get taken care of.

This has been the worst year of my life.. literally. I'll break down all the issues in sections...

Remember, you are right under the Metro station and there will naturally be a lot of bums surrounding the building at all times.

PARKING

The gate never works so expect the homeless and hoodlums to enter in the garage, go through the trash, walk around the cars and even ask you for money in your own garage! Numerous calls to the management and they still won't fix this issue! I'm sure someone will eventually get raped or mugged down there.

There is never any parking in the building since there are no assigned spots and most people like to garage their cars here for months at a time. You come home, the valet will tell you the lot is full and to try the self park lot which is ALWAYS full so I have to find a parking lot close by and walk home many times (not fun)

If you do find parking you will definitely get your car dinged, scratched, or hit because it is extremely tight down there. If you don't hit your car, then the valet definitely will but its not really their fault since its such a mess. Come and see for yourself!

Overall the parking situation has been horrible and I get anxiety just getting close to home knowing what I have to go through just to park my car.

CLEANLINESS OF THE BUILDING

Well if management were to lock all the outside doors, fix the garage door that is always open maybe the homeless would not sleep in the stairwells and urinate in the stairwells.

Unfortunately the tenants in this building do not care much about the cleanliness either. I stepped in dog poop right in the hallway on my floor. I was super happy about that!!

The windows will never get washed so you will always have a nice, spotty, black window and distorted view in your apartment. FYI.. they have been saying the windows are going to be cleaned really soon for the past year.

NOISE LEVELS

If you want to hear the crazy bums on the street yelling about World War 2 between the hours of 2am and 6am this is the building for you. Yes it's not under managements control if the homeless are yelling, but they should do something about those super thin windows. It is NEVER quiet in these units, you can always here a conversation downstairs and I am on the 7th floor.

SECURITY

The security is super nice and super cool and they really do a good job. I have nothing bad to say about them.

OVERALL

Overall this building has been a nightmare.. the parking situation, the construction, the price I am paying for all this, the fear of getting close to home knowing it will take me a while to park my car and the fear of coming to my car the next day hoping it hasn't been damaged is all horrible.

STAY AWAY FROM CASSIE BOSTIC, THE ROOSEVELT DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, AND GREYSTAR!

WHAT A SCAM!!! THERE ARE MUCH NICER BUILDINGS IN DOWNTOWN FOR THE SAME PRICE!
