 When inquireing how to sell a close friend's times we were offered what sounded like a good deal. They would buy the timeshare if we agreed to become a Resorts Anytime member for $5,000+ and an annual fee of $150. We were told that we would be able to rent a condo or home in Hilton Head and many other places including international travel for a very low cost, i.e. $350 weekly. The first couple of times we were able to log on a site that allowed us to find a residence in the location we wanted which was HH and for a reasonable cost. However, we didn't use the membership for some time and when I tried recently to log on, I could not find the same program that I had used in the past for reservations, etc. After some wrong telephone calls, I was given an 888-494-0931 number and the rep took my info and said someone would get back to me no later than a few days. I did receive "one" email with only "one" condo availability for the three nights I had requested in the amount of approximately $2500! I replied letting them know what a disappointment this was - not only the ridiculous $ amount but also not even a choice of places to stay. Three days later, I still have not received any response. I think we were pretty much "taken for a ride" and lost our $5K AND my friend's timeshare. The only good news is my friend doesn't have to pay annual maintenace fees. And that's my sad story. I hope someone catches up with them. I know resent any of those hawkers waiting to pounce on people outside of Hilton Head restaurants, etc. How can anyone not after a bad experience like this.
