ROTHSTEIN AIR CONDITIONING ripoff Little Neck New York

I live in a garden apt..I did not have any AC for about 4 days i was recommended by the person i baby sit a 1 yr old for and he told me that ROTHSTEIN AIR CONDITIONING WAS VERY RELIABLE THEY WOULD SPEND TIME WITH THE AC AND FIND OUT IF IT WAS ABLE TO BE REPAIRED OR NOT..

THE WORKMAN NAMED TODD came to my door i was sitting the baby she was in the other room sleeping...and he walks over to the air conditioner looks at with the cover still on it and did not bother to run it to find out the prob he said its junk throw it out and buy a new one when i said to him are u coming back or calling me to have a new one intsalled he said stay home and i will call he never called and demanded $64 from me for two seconds worth of work that is not a service call that is a RIP OFF he figured i was a woman and stupid enough to pay the price..

Also i called the company 5 times that day no response as to where the serviceperson was and when he finally did call me it was three days later on Sat.the June 29th and told me oh i meant to tell u the person who actually installs the ac is out sick for several weeks and i could not get one before then.. i was so upset i was in tears.. I can't afford let alone a new AC abut i have to buy one because of my job description i care take for small children i must have the AC and i have a daughter as well..

i don't mind paying but for 2 sec of looking at not even checking the motor etc that is A RIP OFF another contractor i finally got was very nice and told me this company ripped me for $64 DOLLARS AND DID NOTHING ABOUT THE ac..

PLEASE I HOPE U CAN HELP ME I AM ALSO SLIGHTLY DISABLED AND THIS IS THE ONLY WORK I CAN DO FOR NOW.. THANKYOU MOST KINDLY ERYL
