Freebies, theyre all a bunch of lies. I brought a digital piano set at Safe National America that says it has free headphones. So when it got delivered a few days later I was taken aback when the headphones werent there. I informed the company about it and they said it was not a freebie, it was a tie up. Theyre all losers! Tricking people about free items thats underhanded. They were about to trick me to buy the set of headphones for a lower price because they could tie it up with my digital piano purchase. What the hell? To all you people out there, this company is a one hug piece of crap.

what i have found so far
AUTHOR: Jim Martin - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, January 08, 2011
the address listed on their site: put it into google earth and it drops you down in the street. on one side of this street is an empty lot. on the side is a shopping center with, as best as i can tell, between 10 and 15 different busiesses in it. each business has its own unique address, along with a number to tell which building the store is in. in the case of safe national, the building that the address takes you to is currently for lease.
now for the st. petersburg address:put that into google earth and it drops you infront if a bistro. safe national must be in the restaurant business too(lol).
while looking through the terms and conditions on their website, i found that part their service includes a membership for "microsoft live search cashback program". this is the best expaination of this program i could get. this a program microsoft set up a few years back as a way to get consumers to shop online. buy from certain merchants and microsoft would then give back part of what you paid, usually around 2%.
then in 2008, microsoft revamped the program to work only with their bing search engine. they did this for two reasons: 1. the original program was not working the way they had hoped, and 2. they wanted to get consumers to use their search engine. this program was entirely scrapped in July of 2010 due to poor results.
i have contacted microsoft customer support to let them know what is going on. they said they were going the email to forward to the proper department to handle it.
also, i recieved my refund this morning(i think). there was a deposit made to my checking account for the amount that was taken. not sure if it was from safe national or where else it might have come from. i do know that i have contacted company that is listed on the deposit to see if it is from them. i also told them what safe national has been up to. still awaiting a response. they wont be back in the office until monday morning. ill let you know what they say, if they even respond.

Just filed my complaint with IC3.
I look forward to seeing justice brought to these jerks whoever they really are.
I had the email address mispelled, thats why mine got returned.
I am sending emails every hour when i am up and at home trying to get more information from them, but so far they have not responded to any of mine.
Going back to their site to see if i can find any small print or anything that could shed some more light on this phoney company.

I commend you for trying to squeeze some information out of them, Jim! They also gave me the date, time and IP address of my supposed authorization, and it was over two hours after I had gone home for the day from work, so there was no way that it was true.
Meanwhile, I have been messing with Nicholas Potter, the "president." I sent him an email to bug him and he replied (with such a dumb a*s reply... "are you looking to place an order?" LOL!!) so I sent him a link to another case of a father and son duo back in 2007, Kenneth and Ronald Cervellin, who got sentenced to jail for taking $25.00 out of random accounts, refunding it when the customers caught it and complained, but they got away with thousands before getting caught. 20 years injail for the mastermind of that operation.
So... now my mission is to figure out how the Cervellins got busted and exercise the same justice on Mr. Potter and his allies. I'm not giving up on this one.

Finally Getting Somewhere With These Jerks
AUTHOR: Jim Martin - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Friday, January 07, 2011
i recieved a phone call at 6:14 this morning. it came up onmy caller id as "blocked caller". the man on the other end introduced himself as Jeffrey Coonts(not sure if that is spelled right), and said he is with safe national of america. he said that he was returning my calls.
he cancelled whatever it was i was charged for and claims to have filed for a refund for me, but would not tell me what the charge was actually for. all he said is that i authorized it while filling out a payday loan online, and that i should recieve my refund within 3 to 5 days.
when i asked which site i supposedly used, he said that information is not in their system, but was able to give me the date and time i submitted the application.
11:15 pm on 12/25/10
at that time i was at work on break, and i have over 100 people that were also in that same breakroom at the time, including 3 salaried supervisers. one of these supervisers were actually sitting across the table from me at the time.
when i tried to get any kind of information on their company and what they do, he avoided my questions and asked if there is anything else he can do for me today. i repeated that question "what exactly does your company do anyway?" the only response i got was "dont worry about it" and then the line went dead. i tried calling right back, but got no answer.

Steve, it sounds like we are on the same page and agree that "Safe National of America" is an illigitimate company and a scam. That's the trouble with written word... it can be interpreted incorrectly because we cannot hear inflections in voice and we don't know each other personally.
I apologize for jumping for conclusions when I felt that you were accusing me of lying. My actual first name came up on my original report and my nickname appears on all the responses - this is my first experience with this website so I apologize for the discrepancy.
My intent here is to expose this scam and inform people about how they can avoid being victims and recover their money if they do become victims. I would LOVE to see justice served to this Nicholas Potter and whomever else is behind this scam.
I sent an email to (((Redacted))) about two hours ago and it still has not come back as undeliverable. He has not replied to it either.
This company has proven to be extremely confusing and difficult to pinpoint, and now it's causing a dispute among consumers. Not good.

Response to Baker, and Ziggy..YOU are confused!
AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, January 06, 2011
To everyone bashing me on this thread. I think you all better re-read the posts as I was simply on a fact finding mission. I have not made any "assumptions", I have never said anyones posts were bogus, and I never said that Safe National of America was legitimate. I never defended them. So WHY the bashing here?? Many of you have me confused with Larry-Phoenix. Time to re-read.
I DID research. I found out that the "business address" the company has listed on the website bestsavingsource.com is nothing more than a UPS STORE / PRIVATE MAILBOX .
NOW, to "Ziggy".
>Well, how in the hell am I supposed to know you are a woman? You never indicated in any way you are a woman. That is what I am talking about with incomplete posts. We are not mindreaders.
We have established that Safe National of America is a SCAM OPERATION who is engaging in unethical business practices. That has been established.
However, no such legal entity such as corporate info, LLC info, etc.has been confirmed, no actual PHYSICAL BUSINESS ADDRESS has been confirmed, and no listed business telephone has been confirmed. That toll free# can be "portable" and not tied to any business landline. Just like the FREEBIE "gmail" email address the "president" of the company was using. And the GoDaddy.com domain registration which is usually used only by spammers and scammers as it keeps the registrants PRIVATE.

FINALLY, someone with some INTELLIGENCE responding to these reports. Steve and Larry, you guys are jerks. I am a WOMAN (by the way) who has gone through hell and back with this company. Youcannot just search "safe national" on ripoff report and find all the information on this scam. If I myself put "safe national of america" in the search bar on this site, my own report does come up. I did heavy-duty research to find out what I did, and I put Nicholas Potter through hell via email to get my money back, which is *probably* why he shut down his email. I threatened legal action and I'm not one to not follow through with what I say, so he's out there, running scared, I'm sure. I am not a liar, I am a genuine person who is trying to fight the liars and thieves in this world. I am continuing the fight even after having my own issue resolved because I do not want others to be victimized. Unlike some of the people who have stuck their noses in this Safe National of America problem without knowing what they are talking about, I actually care about other people.
Again, thank you Jim Martin. I am glad that my fight against this scam (one of millions) is not falling on completely deaf ears.

Hey Jim,
Actually it is you that needs to pay attention here as it was LARRY - PHOENIX that you want to respond to, NOT me.
My posts were fact finding related, and asking questions. I never made any assumptions as you stated.
However, LARRY - PHOENIX made several posts that Safe National of America was a scam, bogus posts, etc.
And, rightfully so, as no poster ever put enough info in any post for us to think otherwise, and none of the "employee" rebuttals gave us anything but a toll free number.
But, do not jump down my throat when it is YOU that do not know what YOU are talking about.
Obviously YOUR company SUCKS really bad in the way it does business as there are over 70 rip off reports filed in less than a month. Food for thought.

in response to not finding ziggy's report, if you read the information at the top your search results on ripoff report it tells you that the search does not always show each and every report that fits your search paramiters. i know i used a few big words in there but try to keep up.
secondly, just as an update, the email address for the president of his company is no longer valid, when you send an email to that address, you get that maillerdeamon back.
third, for all those critics out there that say these are just phoney reports, if you would like i can black out the account numbers and address on the check they sent to my account to prove that this is not a hoax. you know what a hoax is right, steve.
finally, they are a "company" that sells products online and ships them from their warehouse in las vegas, nevada.
address for warehouse: 9680 W Tropicana Ave #106, LasVegas, NV, 89148
"customer service" phone number: 18005870332
if you actually research the information yourself instead of looking at some one elses work and then just assuming it is wrong you might of found this on your own(took me about two minutes).
1. go to website: bestsavingsource.com
2. click the link at the top of the page that says: contact
sorry steve, but i agree with ziggy. you shouldnt make assumptions about things you know nothing about. next time you want to criticize some one, maybe you should do your own research first, then you wont make a fool out of yourself.

It just keeps on getting piled higher and higher
AUTHOR: Larry - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, January 04, 2011
Steve,
Don't waste your time with this crap. It's all bogus.
Ziggy from Fairview says he filed one of the first reports about this company. There is only one report from Fairview, Anywhere (Fairview, Oregon) and the author's name was not "Ziggy." And that report was closer to number 60 than to number one. The problem with telling a lot of lies is trying to remember what you said when and to whom. Maybe "Ziggy" forgot which alias he used when he claimed to be from Fairview.
Click on the search at the bottom of the page to see all the reports about Safe National. There was not a single one filed before 12/28/2010. Then in about one week there were 69 reports. Out of these 69 reports, no two seem to agree on what Safe National does or where it is located. No web site, no phone numbers (even though at least one report claims that he called customer service).
The writing level of all the reports on Safe National are all about the same, roughly sixth grade. The number of reports has dwindled since New Year's and my guess is that some bored junior high schooler(s) posted all this nonsense over the Christmas break.

The "President" of a company using a "gmail" address?
AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, January 04, 2011
This alleged "President" of this alleged company is using a "gmail" email address!
That is the first clue to anyone with a shred of common sense that this is a scam.
Also, they had to get your bank account from somewhere, right?
How do you suppose they did that?
YOU gave it to them. You put your bank account information into some website, somewhere.

Don't make assumptions!!
AUTHOR: Ziggy - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, January 04, 2011
You know what, for those of you who think these reports are bogus, you are sorely mistaken. I was one of those who filed ONE report based on them writing themselves a check off of my personal account, and I had to dig and dig to find the address, phone number, email, etc for this strange company. I posted replies to pretty much every person who had money taken out of their account, to tell them how to contact the president of the company. I battled with Safe National of America by email for several days by email before I got my money back. They are EXTREMELY vague about what they do and why they do it, so don't just ASSUME that people don't know what they are talking about!!!!! YOU should do some actual research instead of making rude assumptions toward people who have ACTUALLY BEEN RIPPED OFF by this company instead of bashing us. All I did was google "safe national of america" and went through every single hit until I found out their contact information on bestsavingsource.com and by contacting them from there, I found out that they were the ones who took money out of my account, unauthorized. They keep defending themselves as a legitimate company, but they are simply one of those scammers who try to take money out of accounts, with stolen information, and hope that people won't notice. Those who do notice get their money back if they dispute it. It will only be a matter of time before they are caught or they figure out some new trick. You OBVIOUSLY did not read the report that I posted because it was very detailed. SO, don't go around insulting people without doing your research. You can't expect every single person who has been scammed to spend the hours that I did to track down the exact information, including how to contact the president of the company. If you want to email him yourself, his name is Nicholas Potter at info.bestsavingsource@gmail.com. Why don't YOU email him and ask him what he does and why??? GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!

Just one more bogus report
AUTHOR: Larry - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Monday, January 03, 2011
I searched all the complaints on this company. There are sixty complaints as I write this. Funny thing, every single complaint was filed over a three-day period. What other company has ever had 68 complaints filed on ROR in three days?
Then I noticed that nearly half the complaints came from people in St. Petersburg, Florida. About ten more claim to have been filed by other persons in Florida.
Next I noticed that some complaints insist Safe National deducted money from their checking accounts while other complaints insist that Safe National is a bricks-and-mortar store selling electronic devices and appliances, every one of which is totally defective. Funny thing is that all the complaints list the address for Safe National in either St. Pete or Las Vegas, Nevada.
Bottom line is that all these complaints appear to be the work of one very sick person

#1 Consumer Suggestion
You should file a COMPLETE and ACCURATE report
AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, January 01, 2011
I have seen so many of the "Safe National of America" reports but still have no idea who they actually are, what they actually do, or where they are!
ROR gives you the space to put in the physical address, phone# and website info, but no one has done it yet.
Also people have mis-classified almost every post as these reports are in multiple categories, like computer manufacturer, etc.
Do they MANUFACTURE computers?
Do they have a physical store? Where is it?
I really hate incomplete and mis-classified reports.
If you are going to do it, PLEASE do it right.
