Safe Touch Security - Lester Jackson, Owner Used Unfair/Deceptive Practices. Lied to get me to sign contract. Scammed me to sign up for 3 yrs. when I only wanted 1 yr. of service. Plus tried to make me pay up front over a $1000.00 for the same Jacksonville Florida

I am a disabled senior citizen victimized by the unfair/ deceptive preactices, use of lies and trickery and scams by Safe Touch Security Systems. I asked before signing, "could I have my service and equipment transfered to my new residence when my lease expired in a few months."

 Joy Krumwiede, security consultant told my daughter and me yes!. I tried to sign up for 1 year but JOY said if I signed for 3 years I could get a discount which is not the case at the present..

I called them when it was time to move to my new residence to disconnect their alarm system and reinstall the property management intrusion system they had removed.  Safe Touch would not come out.  I was told to leave it in the apartment. Which I refused. I had paid for it why would I leave it!

Before the removal of the rental property system Safe Touch was told they had to replace the apartment property's system and they agreed. The reason they removed the rental apartment system because  Safe Touch claimed they could not connect us to the Central monitoring center using the rental property system. 

When they connected their monitroing system to the apartment system we thought we were protected but found out that we were not protected after my daughter tripped the alarm, 10 minutes passed and no one called to see if we were alright that's when we found out that they did not have us connected to central monitoring center!

Now I am told in order for them to transfer service I have to purchase new equipment that I could not use the system they had installed in the apartment.  I now need equipment for a home not apartment equipment which  will cost me over a $1000.00 f in order for us to have security protection in our home. 

I did not give them a $1000.00 so they did not protect us but I am paying them for protection that I am not getting.  They have breached their contract.  This  was never disclosed to me before signing and I still do not understand why I could not use their equipment from the apartment I had purchased?

 I am paying $27.00 plus a month for 3 years which they are trying to make me pay 5 years or longer according to their pre worded contract but thank goodness that Joy wrote in the contract 3 years but I am being over charged from the original agreed cost of service. 

They told me I would not be able to get any service anywhere without buying the equipment out right up front for over a $1000.00, that was a lie.  I have  service with another company and I did not have to buy the equipment. 

We had 2 other top rated companies to give us an estimate for service and they did not ask us to buy equipment only requested a  first month monitoring fee and then we are protected.

Safe Touch Security Systems prey on the disabled, old, young anyone with their lies, scams and trickery to get you to sign their contract which is poison once you sign because they do not explain clearly their contract and they mislead you to sign.

I would like to get my contract cancelled and see Safe Touch Security Systems brought to justice.
