I am an Independent Life and Health Insurance Broker and Investment Advisor Representative.  I contracted with this company to do e-mail marketing campaigns. I made payments of $650 for May and $350 for June.  The e-mail and telephone addresses of the lists provided were out of date.

 

Sales Tiger and Howard Meltzer knew of my concerns on June 17 .  There were telephone conversations, voice messages  and e-mail chains expressing my concerns.  All Mr. Meltzer wanted was payment.  On July 19, I stopped my bank card because my concerns were not being satisfied and Mr. Meltzer began to make threats.

Today Mr. Meltzer started an e-mail campaign slandering and defaming my business and myself  to 100,000 email addresses.  All because Mr. Meltzer wanted me to continue a worthless e-mail campaign for an additional $1050 through September 20.  When in fact, Mr Meltzer failed to live up to weekly reviews, bi-weekly reviews and No landing page for responses as per his agreement.

First I would like to thank the proprietors of this site for allowing me to first publish my complaint back in August. Hopefully my rebuttal here doesn't sound like a "he said/she said" response.  It enabled another customer of Sales Tiger who felt wronged to reach out to me and to tell me how he was wronged.  In my industry, I am required to keep all verbal and e-mail responses for a period of ten years.  Not only do I have the records of both my verbal and written correspondences between Mr. Meltzer and myself but also have the record of the written correspondences  of the other customer that he has wronged with me as well.  I am more than happy to share those correspondences with the proprietors of this site if need be.

To all of the others that have ever been wronged in any way shape or form, I suggest googling the company that wronged you, preferably before you do business with them as well as the principals of that firm.  In this case, and unfortunately it was after the fact, I googled both Sales Tiger and it's principal, Howard Joel Meltzer.  What I found by googling explained why I had the problem in the first place!

In closing, there seems to be a "pattern" followed by Mr. Meltzer in his dealings with both myself and the unnamed other customer.  In my case, it was the failure to deliver on the part of both Mr. Meltzer and Sales Tiger for what they promised me.  In the case of the other unamed customer, there clearly was a case of fraud as per what was disclosed to me by the other customer in those e-mail correspondences.

We have NEVER had a RIPOFF Report written about us in the 15 years we have been in business. This is the first so there is a reason: 

The claims made by the "Independent Life & Health Insurance Broker (Who of coarse won't give his name / I could but won't because I don't do business that way)) are completly false. 

He started with us as he stated in late May (it took 2 weeks for his credit card to work as it had Insufficient funds) we then sent out a campaign for him on June 7th. Our agreement requires a 90 day cancellation because we offer our clients exclusivity in their market area plus we provide all the marketing material and prospect lists.

Once the prospect lists were loaded and we sent the first campaign he cancelled the program and shut off his credit card from us being able to bill it any further.

He paid us the first payment and downloaded our list and STOPED paying us and basically stole what would have cost him $2500 for the list of 15,000 prospects for $350.
 
He claims that the list had bad information yet over 14,000 emails were delivered 93% which is unheard of in email marketing he also had a 35% OPEN RATE and 15% "CLICK THROUGH RATE" THIS IS WHY HE WANTED THE LIST
 
I assure you we did not send out any emails slandering him in fact we just stopped communicating with him completly.
 
I would never waste my time and money sending out 100,000 emails and open myself or my company to a law suite. I may have been born at night but it was not last night. 
 
Whats funny is in the 15 years we have been doing this we have NEVER had a client rip us off for the list we provide them (we have always know it was a possibility but no one ever has) he was the first.
