I was looking on craigslist for my first car. I found a beautiful 2005 white nissan altima with tinted windows and 20'' chrome rims. The car even had tvs in the headrests. So i contacted the seller via e-mail beucase no number was posted. I asked why this car was only being sold for $3,970. She replied and said that this car was her husbands and he had died in Iraq  and she wants to get rid of the car because it brings her bad memories. I bought her sob story. The car was listed in New York while the seller " just moved to Florida." I checked the carfax and it was clean, 1 owner and regesterd in FL.

I wanted this car more than anything so I moved on this to good to be true deal. The seller had said she wants to do the shipping through ebay motors, and wanted me to send the money in cash through a moneygram order. Im not familiar with this sort of thing and when I recieved the emails from ebay I thought it was legit. I was given a ebay vehicle purchase protection agent. It looked real to me because the address was that of Ebay's in San Jose, CA. The agents name was Thomas Morison.

I sent the money all in cash through moneygram to this guy. The deal was Samantha Roark ( the seller) gets the money only after I get the car which I have to give confirmation to ebay once I get it, and had a moneyback gurantee if I didnt want the car. I sent the money August 13th. It was supposed to be here within 5 bussiness days. It is now August19 and the seller stoped contact with me. Now I dont not know what to do and Im out on a first car and $4000.00. I need help getting my money back or bringing these people down.
