After reviewing my finances, they preapproved me for a loan modification
Sanford Consulting had underwriters to look at my situation and said " NO PROBLEM"
Like a fool I sent in $1900.00 up front even after speaking with the owner of the company for his reassurance. Nver heard from them again.
It was then turned over to Mortgage Mitigators, who had just changed their name from something else because of business ethics.
T. Annis at Sanford Conculting and Scott Sanford took the money
A. Cappello with Mortgage Mitigators now sings me the song and dance and still to no avail 7 months later... they have finally just stopped calling all together. no emails. calls etc...... i want my money back !!!!!!

Fortunately, we record all calls, keep calls logs and all emails.
We have been in constant contact with her and have let her know modifications can take months BUT THAT IS BECAUSE OF THE LENDER. Not because of us. Some companies are quoting 9 months to 1 year of a modification...we are well below that average.
We have completed over 180 successful loan modifications and some were done, start to finish, in less than 30 days. Our website lists many of the successful modifications we have completed.
We also have a money-back guarantee in place for people who cannot get modified by their lender after we have pre-approved them and after the customer has got us their documentation within a timely manner (within 72 hours).
Again, we have a log of the calls and emails with this customer, dozens of contacts in the past 6 months (not 7 because she didn't begin until 4/22). We also have done nearly 200 modifications successfully.
