Savanh marketing, Aka marketing ststems inc, aka Cavalier marketing in tampa florida is a Multi-level marketing scam

I started working for this company in oct. of 2005. I was promised that I would be an owner of my own company in 9 months, and I would be making 600 per week up until then. I was also promised paid training.

That was a total lie. I was a top producer, and I was only making 300 per week on my best weeks. And this job is commision only. We had to pay for our own gas as well as our food. So yea I went in the negative week after week. I was so caught up in the idea of me having my own company one day I went into so much debt for the business.

My expenses for just the business were more than I made. On top of all that I had rent and other expenses. So yea in 9 months I was 15k in debt, and did not own my own company. I never got my training pay either.

Sys the owner made us lie to new recruits, and tell them they would make more than double what they actually would. We also was supposed to hide certain things from the new recruits. Like out parent company's name "cydcor". This is because all you have to do is google cydcor, and you will know its a multilevel marketing scam.

Optimism vs. Apathy

There is a lot of hype about Cydcor, and it seems about Savanh Marketing Systems as well lately. Yes, it is hard, and yes, the money does suck. The bottom line is, that you need to answer to yourself these questions. How many entry level sales jobs are out there? How many sales jobs will take someone in with no experience and train them? The answer is not very many if any. 99% of all sales jobs that I have researched that pay well require at least 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE. That one little sentence on a job posting might be one of the most difficult things for a fresh college grad to fulfill on their resumes.

All the negative things aside, this job will give you that experience you need to suceed in the future in sales. You guys say that Cydcor uses you, and thats fine, yes they do. But, use them back, trust me, they won't mind. If anybody can financially make it at least 6 months, you will learn more about entry level sales then any other college grad looking for a sales position. Those of you coming into the company looking to open their own Cydcor shop, need to pull their head out of the clouds. Im not saying you wont become a manager, but realistically.....you wont.

So, work with what you can and gain experience. I managed to afford to do it for a few months and gained enough knowledge to put sales experience on my resume and impress my current boss. I am a sales rep for an international company and make $5,000 - $6,000 a month, all because I stuck it out with Sys for a few months. If you dont think that putting a a year of sales experience on your resume makes a difference, then you have never interviewed for a serious sales position. As you can all see, this in no way defends Cydcor and what they practice, i just say to get the best out of it, if you can afford to. I did know Sys as a person, and Ive said it before, and Ill say it again, he does care about his employees and is an outstanding salesman with much knowledge to offer.
