savemore.com I bought a daily deal for Barnes and Noble - $10 for a $20 gift card that they were supposed to mail to me and I never received it. I bought the deal on 12-2-11 and it wasn't supposed to be available Internet

I bought the SaveMore deal on 12-2-11 which was $10 for a $20 Barnes and Noble gift card. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter.  The deal was not to be ready until 12-12-11.

On 12-12-11, I went on my account at SaveMore and requested (by clicking options) the gift card be sent to my home address.  13 days before Christmas - it should have made it here.  I never received it.

I waited, checking my mail daily, after Christmas, thinking the Christmas mail caused the delay. I never received it.  (Let me add, my daughter in law bought this deal the same day, and she received her gift card on 12-24-11.)  I called the 800 number quite a few times, always getting their voice mail. I left a message once (the first time I reached them) and was never called back.

I did finally make contact with a person from SaveMore around 1-2-12. I gave my complaint. She said they had run out and the giftcards were backordered and as soon as they came in, the company would be shipping them out. It has now been 16 days and I have heard nothing. 

The company never even tried to contact me.  They have taken my $10. The Barnes and Noble card is not in my deals' list nor is it in my redeemed deals' list, however, the $10 I paid for it is listed in my year to date saves. I would either like my card, or my $10 returned. 

SaveMore is the only daily deal site that requires you to wait for 10 days for your deal to be processed. All the other sites have their daily deals available either right away or by the next day.
