I purchased a car from these jokers from the eBay site. I was winning the auction over their reserve price and when the auction was about to end, 'someone' (one of his friends, or him using an alias) bid 3900. funny, no one bid on it for six days, and no one for more than 2900. I know what he was thinking. I had been conversing with them by email and told him that I was willing to pay 4000, and he wanted to bid me up to my max to get every penny. Once he saw that my bid was only 3800 he quickly sent me an email saying that the 'guy' that bid 3900 called him and said that he did so by accident. here's a copy of the email

'750il yours for 3800. high bidder bought 99 porsche from me and we have a good relationship. however expected me to get her financed, well him, for his wife and I can't due to year of car. I will end auction or you can bid 3851 if you like. I am not going to trash him for it, he's a good customer who made a mistake. I would rather deal with you. P.S. drivers seat switch will be no problem.Apparently your high bid was only 3699. let me know. If not I will have to re-list it and have to get a little more for re-listing fees. Hope to talk soon! Thanks, R Alexander'

Their dishonesty should have turned me away right away. but I really wanted the car. He said it was mine for 3800. I emailed him and told him I would take it. I also called him to verify but he never answered his phone. i rented a car to drive from VA to NH that very day. drove all through the night and was in NH by noon the next day.

when I went in to pay for it, scott and russell, scotts right hand man, both seemed very much on edge, as if they didn't want me to be there. when we sat down to do paperwork he said the total was 4550. I said 'what?'. 'Yeah, at the last minute someone came in and bid 4500.' (them using an ebay alias). I pulled out 38 100 dollar bills and said do you want it or not. He was very upset, I realized later that was just a tactic to make me happy to walk away with the car. I got up and said that I would leave with my money and drive around for 15 minutes if he needed to think about it. they both said 'no,no sit down, we'll take 3800, just give us great feedback right away'.

I obliged with that. he was ancy through the whole ordeal. After he twice tried to up the price on me I should have run. Then he said he would have to mail the title to me, 'state procedure.'

I left with the car and drove all the way back to VA. A little smoke from the tail pipe here and there, but I figured maybe the car had sat for a while. About a week later, got paperwork in the mail from scott but no title. When I called him about it he said in NH they don't title cars over 15 years old. I was ready to shout (or shoot!). I got that all straightened out with dmv and took my car to my mechanic. on the way to the mechanic, it started to smoke, smoke so bad I could not breathe. by the time I got to the shop, it looked as if I was going to blow up.

my mechanic, who I trust and have gone to for years, did a thourough look over and said there was a lot wrong with this car, not the least of which was that the rings were shot. A car can run fine like that, but the smoke will kill. Smokeless oil is the only way around that. So, here I am with a worthless peice of junk needing a 6000 dollar repair, more than the car is worth.

Never got any money back, probably never will. Just hope no one else falls into their trap, DON'T BUY from these people.
