Sears Home Improvement Products and Service Ripoff Dishonest Fraudulent Unprofessional Nashville Tennessee

On Nov. 16, 2005 I contracted for 2 HVAC systems to be installed in my home. Not only was it not installed per specifications the Field Sales Manager forged my signature to change the specifications when they were not able to obtain the systems I contracted for.

In addition to changing which systems would be installed he removed the installation of new registers for the upstairs system, changed the registers for the downstairs into return grills, and changed the duct work to a single duct down the hallway with 7 grills in the side of it. Of course this made the down stairs sysytem basically worthless and no heat or A/C would get into any of the bedrooms, bath, etc. without having the doors open at all times.

The person they had doing the electrical had no idea of how to do the work and almost killed himself when he tried to run new electrical wires into the main service panel without turning off the power first resulting in his shorting out the wiring going to the downstair lights and outlets. The so-called professionals also had no idea of how to wire the thermostats for the systems.

When it came to the refrigerant lines they did such a lousy job that all of the gas leaked out of the systems and it took 2 1/2 months to get them to fix that so my electrical bill jumped from $100 per month to $350 per month. They also didn't route the lines as they said they would and it tok 4 months to get them to fix that.

They also never have showed up when they have said they would some times leaving me with absolutly no heat in my home for days during the middle of winter. They still have not fixed the ducts downstairs to be per the original specifications I signed. Nor have the cleaned up and hauled off the debris form their work.
