I was called from the number 845-547-4297 today. When I asked who was calling, I was told an attorney named Sebastian Cooper and he wanted to collect my attorneys information. He said there was a federal lawsuit being filed against me for an unpaid debt. He wouldnt gives specifics about the debt, just that he was hired to perform there legal services. He kept saying there were three reasons for the lawsuit.

One being that I gave them false information and that they felt I had no intention of paying the loan back. Cant remember the third reason. He kept referencing a bank account from a bank that i dont have. He said I would owe about $5000 when all was finished. I proceeded to tell him that I didnt know what he was talking about, and he said I would find out friday when the federal authorities come to my house to arrest me. He said my state wasnt aware of this yet because it hadnt been filed yet.

He kept saying it was a federal case and if I couldnt afford an attorney, one would be appointed to me. I listened to his spheel, and told him that I guess I'll wait until friday to see whats really going on. He said he represented 98 different money lenders even going so far as to name off a few. i was also informed that i should let my probation or parole officer know about this lawsuit. After speaking with this guy, I tried calling the number back to verify he was really an attorney, and the number went straight to voicemail.

He called back shortly after and said he had missed a call and had no idea who I was. I didnt tell him and I chuckled a bit. He got angry and asked why I was laughing and kept asking me if he was cracking a joke. He had a very thick accent and I kept having to ask him to repeat himself. I researched the company he claims he belongs to and the number he called from, and got several stories just like mine. They are praying on weak people. I cant take stress like this. I have a lot going on. Needless to say, I was really scared until I seen it was a scam. He had some of my personal info as well.
