Sebastian Escalada, The Concession Carts Company Mass Misrepresentation!!! Ann Arbor Michigan

My husband bought "The Limo" last year from Mr Escalada. We had all the same complaints that I've read here. He filled out the registration form incorrectly and it took weeks to get that fiasco settled. The worst of it all is the workmanship.

The first problem of many was they forgot to rivot the back cabinet. So it was falling apart almost immediately. He sent us a rivot gun and said "here ya go". The water tanks leak so badly that they literally won't hold water half the time. The sinks were put together poorly so they also leak. The hot water tank didn't come with a burner so we have to use sterno to heat the water. The burners won't stay lit on the steam table. And on top of all of that, he shorted us our condiment tray, drip pan for the BBQ and several steam pans that he said he'd get in the mail to us.

Oh and by the way...the schematics are inaccurate. They still say the same old stuff and they are not made per the schematics. (for his little friend) He also made ours to different dimensions and we were counting on being able to park it in our garage. It's TOO TALL! Not the measurements that were told to us! We now have to rent a storage facility because our HOA won't allow us to park it in the driveway.

We've tried e-mailing him, called him approximately 176 times, and sent a certified letter that he never picked up. Our warranty is about to expire (like there ever was a warranty) and we now have to take it in for major refurbishing and it's not even a year old yet.

We bought this after seeing it on e-bay but because my husband had questions, he called Sebastian and ended up purchasing it over the phone. Because we didn't actually purchase it through e-bay, we can't file a complaint through them so there's no way to stop this joker from selling more. I just hope that the rest of the future hotdog vendors out there, read this before buying from him. He's really hurt himself too. So many people inquire about the cart and we tell people to stay away from this guy.

Anybody want to start a class action lawsuit against him...we're in!
