     Upon "hiring" Securus to answer our business calls after hours, they email a list of what they carge. We were to be charged a flat rate of $99.00 dollars for the first 100 minutes. Then $0.99 cents per each additional minute after. We were not to be charged if any of the following calls came through:  Charge for test calls or calls under 20 seconds. Immediate hang ups/No live caller on the other end/soliciations. We arer to be charged for live talk time only and no charge once the call is patched over (to one of our employees).

 

     The first few months were billed appropriately. Looking over the following bill, we notice inaccuracies. We contacted Securus on the differences and they agreed with what we had deduced. They then said we would get a credit back. After waiting several weeks, our contact on this issue was unavailable. We went through several more customer service employees. Each tried their best to mislead or redirect our inquiries.

 

     We finally received a credit. However, with the bad taste of being lied to about the issues getting handles, we decided to end our relatinship with Securus. Upon our last bill from them, they overcharged us again on. This time the overcharges were blatant and ridiculous.

 

     Contacting the office again, they had every excuse saying that their billings was accurate and correct. With each rebuttal of mine, which came directly from their pricing, they baulked and side stepped the charges. The last "reason" they would not refund the overcharges is that since we were no longer using their services, their policy is not to refund any overcharges.
