I responded to a pop-up advertisement called "Cash Cow." It pretended to sell information about a viable home business. I sent in the fee for the information, although I don't remember exactly how much it was, probably between $20-$30. I never received the information packet that I ordered because there was no packet. However, I did get a call from Serafano Enterprises wanting to sell me the software for a home business.

The business involved running their Adpro software from my computer with links to a Cash Cow web site. They told me that I would make 50% of the cost of the Cash Cow information. They told me that running the software on my computer for 2 to 4 hours per day would make me between $2,000 to $3000 per month. Joe Serafano came on the line and told me that the software cost $3,500 but that he would let me pay $995 down and then the rest of the money in two installments. He already had my credit card number (from my visit to the Cash Cow site). He told me he would debit my credit card and then send me a contract to sign that I would send back.

I should have read the last paragraph of the agreement. As you probably know, I made absolutely no money from running the software 24 hours per day for several weeks despite the fact that I called his office for technical support several times, and he never debited my credit card for the additional payments he had mentioned.

What he had done was sell me some very expensive advertising software. He had lied to me boldfaced on the telephone, knowing what he was doing and feeling he was covered by the last paragraph of the contract which states: "This is the entire agreement between Serafano Enterprises, LLC and you relating to the software and it supersedes any prior representations, discussions, undertakings, end user license agreements, communications or advertising relating to the software. It is further agreed that every good faith effort will be made by both parties to ensure the successful implementation of this software and agreement." He duped me and the covered his a*s. What a snake!

To the above respondant....thank you for letting me know about Mr. Serafano...he ripped me off for $1,700 and I hate myself for falling for his "scam". I've reported this to my credit card company but it's been over a year now since the charge appeared because I've been trying to use the software to no avail!! I doubt I will ever get my money back now. If you have any comments for me I can be reached via ripoffreport.com. #2 UPDATE Employee

Avoid at all costs

AUTHOR: Anonymous High-Ranking - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 27, 2004

I am an employee of Mr. Serafano.
I have watched him systemically remove naieve people from their money. He will give you a used-car salesman pitch and get you to hand over your cash now. He will claim the software is made in France, and costs him $3500 per copy. The reality is that he paid me $400 to build this program, and it costs him nothing to issue copies of it. I can make you a free copy right now if I wish. Mr. Serafano has no concern whatsoever for his "customers" (victims) or employees, he just wants your money. His "Expert Coaching" staff consists of convicted felons working below minimum wage with little to no experience in computers or advertising. He will ignore your calls and request for a partial refund until you give up, or he will berate you into forgetting about a refund. Initiate an immediate dispute with your credit card company if you have already fallen for this scam.

The only way to truly stop this individual and attempt to recover your money is to report him to your states attorney general AND the Federal Trade Commission. What Mr. Serafano does not know is that he is required to show testimonials and paychecks demonstrating the claims of money people are making from his system, which he cannot.

Reporting this fact to the FTC will possibly cause them to begin an ivestigation, especially if they get multiple complaints. Whatever you do,do not invest in him.

Joe Serafano (Serafano Enterprises) Big Rip-Off!!!!!

AUTHOR: Edward - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, July 10, 2004

Yes, I too was tricked into Joe Serafano's rip off scheme. I responded to something on the internet about making money from home and later was contacted by a representative from Joe Serafano's office in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

They were basically trying to sell my some software called AdCaster which sends out messages to people on the internet. He said for every lead I could create for him he would pay me $1.00. I was hesitant about the program so later talked directly to Joe Serafano (the owner) and he said the software was expensive but I would make my money back after a few months of using this software.

The software was quoted at like $3,000!!! He made it sound very successful and interesting so I talked him down to $1,700 for the software that I put on my credit card. I got the software and started using it, sending out thousands and thousands of messages in the form of pop up ads to people on the internet.

After using it for about 2-3 months I made a total of about $30-$40. Instead of getting hundreds of responses per day like he said I would...i received very little response.

I called numerous times and talked to people at his office but they just blew me off and said they would send me a new ad to send out and that should help. It didn't. Nothing worked. Joe Serafano scammed me out of $1,700 and I have nothing I can do about it. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS GUY!!!!!

Randall
