Sgt. Clutch Discount Transmission They kept my car and then filed for bankruptcy San Antonio Texas

In July of 2007 I took my van to get the transmission repaired becauese they said the had several no credit financing options. I was told it would be no problem to get financed, I later learnede that was a lie. They started working on my van without even giving me an estimate for the work. About a week after they started working on the van I got a call saying that they got into an accident, they told me not to worry that they would take care of it but it would take another week. when I went back to check on it I was very upset to find out that they had not repaired it correctly, it even had sighns of frame damage. When I asked to see a detailed bill for the parts and for the work they had done, all I was given was a paper that said I owed $2200 in labor and $65 in parts. To make it even worse the paper states several times, "this is not an invoice do not pay"
I had two child seats a hydraulic jack and several other items in the vehicle which they refused to return. My stereo and one of the seats happened to disappear as well. Even though it was in their warehouse they didn't steal any of it, atleats that is their excuse. I later found out that they were using my van to run parts for the company, I have a police report that coraberates that.
When I told them that I would not pay anything until I saw a detailed statement and the parts they changed I was told too bad you have no choice. After alot of months of getting the runaround I decided to take them to court. When I finally got my court date it turns out they filed for bankruptcy and I've been told there is nothing I can do and they still have my car, basically they have stolen my van.
