WE PURCHED A SOLAR LIGHT KIT FOR THE SIGN IN FRONT OF OUR DEVELOPMENT IN MARCH 2008. IT WAS BAD RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A KIT,BUT WE HAD TO WIRE IT TO GET IT TO WORK. IT WAS ALL DOWNHILL FROM THERE. IT STARTED TO NOT WORK AFTER ABOUT THREE MONTHS. CALLS TO THE SERVICE DEPT WERE JUST A JOKE. AFTER A LOT OF CALLS AND E-MAILS THEY SENT A NEW ONE IT LASTED TWO MONTHS. AND IT STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN WE HAD TO SEND IT BACK FOR WHAT THEY SAID WOULD BE A REPAIR,BUT THEY JUST SENT A NEW ONE. THIS WENT ON UNTIL THEY SAID WE WERE OUT OF WARRANTY. AFTER MANY BACK AND FORTH WORDS THEY GAVE IN AND SENT A NEW IMPROVED LIGHT WE LASTED A MONTH AND A HALF. WE HAVE HAD FIVE LIGHTS SO FAR NONE OF THEM WERE ANYGOOD. NOW THEY TELL US WE WILL HAVE TO BUY THE NEXT ONE AT A PRICE OF 250.00 DOLLARS LIKE WE WOULD THAT AFTER ALL OF THE PROBLEMS WE HAVE HAD. THEY NEVER ONCE CALLED US BACK WE ALWAYS HAD TO CALL THEM THEY WILL NOT EVEN THINK OF GIVING US ANY PART OF OUR 400.00 DOLLARS WE PAID FOR THIS PIECE OF CRAP. ALL WE GET IS A LOT OF TALK ABOUT HOW GOOD THE LIGHT IS .I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYBODY ELSE IS HAVING THE SAME PROPLEM AND IS AS PISSED AS I AM.

I have not gotten any feedback from silicon solar. I guess they think I will just go away. Not going to happen until I get our money back for this product,but I will tell them how to repair this light if they want to know. I found the problem that they said did not have. The light has worked for four months now. It is better now than it has ever been. But I am not at all happy with the people at silicon solar. They have to know that this product is not any good. Yet they keep on trying to sell it to other poor guy that will be having to go through the same crap I did.

We had sent you back a bad light for you to see if you could find the problem with the light All you did was send us your new a improved one that also did not work very long.

You have told me one more than time that you did not have any servive dept. All you could do is replace it.

Now you want us to spend another tweny dollars to ship it plus your repair charge,and not get any warranty with it.

You people have got to be out of your mind.

Just give us our money back,you know this product is not what you want to sell to anyone else,and have to deal with them to.

Unfortunately the light is out of warranty and we are unable to send a new light. You may however send back for repair for a fee, and have our technicians repair the light. We have gone outside of our normal policy,and attempted to work with you.  I apologize that you had so many issues with these lights, as I stated this is not the normal operation of these lights.

The fact that the company states that they do not have a problem with this light is just plain wrong. We have gone through four of them. None of which worked more than a month. I guess we got all of the ones that don't work out of all the ones they sold. I don't think so. Just send us one that works or give us or money back,and I won't bother you anymore.

Customer has had an out of the ordinary experience with this product. These lights ordinarily do not have issues such as this.

We have gone outside of our usual policy to attempt to get this customer a working product. We have sent him parts,at no cost outside of his warranty.

We have offered to have the customer send back for repair work, since the item is outside of warranty, he has refused.
