I began working with this company on a property they gave me a quote of 7900 i made a 50% deposit. There was a issue with the roof that required a engineer, which they didnt have. So that stalled the process. I decided to refinance the house and needed him to sign off on a form stating that they have been paid for the amount of work that had been completed. When I spoke to the owner his words were you have small minimal balance that you can pay and I will sign off. I agreed but when I recived the balance his story then changed and he stated i would have to pay the reaminder of the balance off for him to sign off although not even 50% of the job has been completed. I also recieved word that damage from another roof they did for me last month was damaged. When i brought this to Juan attention he stated that it probably "fell off" and did not offer to repair the damage they did althought that project was paid in full. I feel this is unethical and border line extortion. 6000 dollars worth of work has not been done to our property and that is what they are requesting.
