Find a Good Trucking Company to Ship Your Vehicle... Do Not Use Smart Trucking 1 LLC.  

Damaged Car and Missed Delivery by 8 days.  After hearing nothing but BS for 8 days from Smart Trucking 1 LLC got in touch with the truck driver and drove to Porter, IN early on Sunday to meet the truck and pick up the car and drive it home for the last 60 miles my self. For 8 days I heard promises made and missed.  This is the worst company for customer service or communication.  I had a sense that something was wrong.  The stories were a bunch of BS from Smart Trucking 1 LLC.  

The delapadated vehical transit truck died on the road with a leak in the coolant line in Porter, IN.  I got to the T/A truck stop where they were workinig on the truck.  Only one mechanic working at 11am and had to wait 5 hours for the truck to be fixed.

Wait it gets better…the car finally gets off the rig and has dents in the hood and the driver door.  The hood looks like it was hit by the chain hold downs in one spot.  The other spot has a dent which looks like it was stepped on slightly.  Perhaps they tried to step on the windshield and hit the hood.  The door looks like it was caught open backing up where the lower corner was bent out.

The management owners for Smart Trucking 1 LLC have not returned calls, emails or letters. All the essential paperwork was filed with Smart Trucking 1 LLC relative to the claim.  I called the Trucking company's insurance company Progressive - the insurance will only cover claims over $2500 and my claim is $2100.  Therefore the owners need to pay out of pocket...Smart Trucking 1 LLC.  Jefferson (Kelly) Campbell & Tiffany Campbell are NOT good responsible owners.  They have not returned calls or settled the claim for the past 8 months. 

I highly recommend NOT using Smart Trucking 1 LLC.
