I called SMC after watching the commercial with Tom Bosley saying that you can start a home business for less than $25 dollars with nothing to loose. I was curious and just wanted information only. Before the information packet arrived, I recieved a called from SMC telling to that I need to sign up right away ( before I even recieved the information ) in order to get the special offers for a free coaching process. I was also told that if I didn't want to continue with this process that I could cancel within 30 days and recieve a full refund with no questions asked. I agreed. But when I recieved the information packet, I didn't like what I read, and didn't want to do this business. I called to cancel right away, but the person on the phone said that I can't cancel until I've given it a try. Then if I didn't like it, then cancel.
So I had to continue with the process. I then recieved a call from Emerchantclub, and was told that I have to have a Web-site developed. This was still within the 30 days, so I continued. I was continuosly given higher and higher expenses throughout the process, adding up to over $1,000 dollars. Being Unemployed, I couldn't take this risk any further, so when it got close to the end of 30 days I called to Cancel. The person handling it over the phone told me that I would be cancelled, but that my membership would be put on Hold in case I changed my mind down the road and wanted to reinvest in this business. I said okay to this, thinking that I was going to get my money back, which was my only concern. But now I'm being told that my money will not be refunded because my membership is on Hold and that means that I still have to pay for it. Including the Web-site. Plus I'm being billed a second time for both SMC and EMC for a second Month. All I wanted was to get my Money Back. I didn't want to do this business from the begining, but they kept dragging it out, and then in the end, Twisted their words around making me think I was going to be refunded, only to find out that I'm now out over $400 dollars. And I don't know if they plan on billing me again in the next Month as well. Any business that says you get your money back with 30 days and then end up billing you for Any sum of money is DisHonest. No Matter what it says in their hidden terms and policies.
A 30 day Money-back refund is Supose to be a 30 day Money-back refund and That's that.
