January 12 I contacted Driver Dective and had it install new drivers.  They scanned computer and told me my computer needed immediate rrepair and pointed out various problems, which I wrote down.   Since they were with microsoft I thought it was a trustworethy company.   I was offered a 1 year service for $349 which I refused and than he asked if I was a senior and offered me a $249 service for 1 years which I did accept.  Little did I realize how much stress this would case me. The tech referred me to solidtech in montreal, canada.  They told me that it would take 4-5 hours to complete the work.  I checked the nxt day and nothing was done .I tryed to call numerous times and only contascted someone at 9:30 pm.  I told him I was dissatified with the service and wanted ti cancel and he told me I could not cancel because I thought it cost too much.  I had checked into the problems I was told I had with the computer. I found out that some of the things I was told were not true . THey pressured me to continue with the instillation before I would cancel.  THe installation was not completed until Jan.15, 3days later. I continued to email and call customer service.  I  was not given considerate custoimer service. Sometimes it took them 2 weeks to respond . ON JAN. 29 I called and found out my account was cancelled.  That really upset me that no one ever contacted me. Of couse to them it was cancelled so I would not incur and more costs, which seemed strange to me.  I called and they told me I should have read the contract .  I coulod not rread the contract before they startted working on  my computer because I was referred to the by a third party.Thye were not going to return my money because I had alread had technical work done.  I tryed to get across to them that even if I had the techincal work done no one was responsive to my call or requests and were not willing to help me. Than I decided to refer this issue to my credit card company .  I would never refer anyone to that company although maybe some people hve had good service from them.  I was totally dissatifed with their customer serviceand that is good reason to request a refund .  Their contract protects them so read any compannies contract before you deal with them. this wsa an awful excperience.
