Southeastern Family Publishers has charged an unautorized amount of $138 on 7/29/08 on my credit card. I quickly notified my bank and the bank gave me credit. I have called these people for over two weeks, sent them a fax, an overnight letter and still no one has returned my call etc.
They are now threatening me with legal/court action and more fees if I don't reverse the charge and pay them this amount.
I'm not receiving any magazines from these people and my account with them was closed back in 2006. Unfortunately I fell for their line of being a winner and they took me for about $800. I did report them to the BB but to no avail.
Don't know where to go from here - hopefully you can give me some insight.
I have records of all correspondence, phone calls I made etc.
