Southwest Holdings LLC John Ross Another time waster trying to scam small business Phoenix Internet

I was contacted by John Ross about investing in my business - no introduction, very kurt email but knew we were looking for $1m. From the start it felt unusual but I responded as though he was legitimate with my standard response "here's a one pager, let me know if you're interested".

John responded with "we're only interested in debt / equity" meaning he had not read the one pager. I checked his site, and it's terrible, there is also no presence online for him, or his business. It's the little things that add up.

I said again that he should let me know if interested, and if so that I would send an NDA and an Accredited Investor Questioniare for him to fill out. He declined the NDA saying 'they don't sign NDA's to review deals" which is utter nonsense. I should have lead him on to see how far I could get before loosing money to him.

What a load of BS. Quite honestly, I would not have filed this report had it not been that we literally get 1 a week of people wanting money up front, or a service fee or some other crap. It has to stop - there's no formal regulation against this.
