Spiegel Catalog Newport News BAMBOOZLED/ OFFERED 30% DISCOUNT THEN NEVER RECEIVED! Hampton, Virginia

Received an e-mail, welcome back, enjoy 30% discount on your next order.  Went shopping with Spiegel online.  Selected a swimsuit and cover up, and typed in my 30% savings discount.  Order complete.

Received an e-mail stating the swimsuit was not in-stock and would ship a month later.   While the internet accepted and noted the discount savings, I was actually charged the full amount, and the shipping charges on the full amount.

Wrote Spiegel - no reply, called Spiegel, agent said I would received discount in a few days.   That was a few weeks ago. 

Then I get an e-mail stating the swiumsuit shipped, AT FULL PRICE!

I write customer service again today with my dilema and the rep was down right rude and acted unintelligent.  I kept asking what amount would be credited to my account, and she would not tell me.  Insted, she wrote that I would receive my credit in 1 to 2 billing cycles?  HUH?  I paid with my debit card.

Then, when I question the $19 outrageous fee, she states they charge shipping on the FULL PRICE!  Well I didn't buy it at full price, I thought I bough it at a 30% discount price.

Now - if I am to return the items, I lose!  $20 for shipping, and the amount of shipping charge to return the overpriced merchandise.

I've been robbed, mistreated and abused.  I wish I would have read these reports before.
Please I urge you, do not buy from Spiegel Catalog....please read the comments first!

How can this type of business exist when it's called FRAUD.  These people should be arrested and shut down for their practices.  And someone needs to investigate their shipping charges.....they a making a profit by inflating their shipping charges.
