In March 2005, I went into the hospital. I contacted Sprint and requested a temporary turn-off of service. They do offer vacation and holiday services so, I assumed I would not be charged. I returned to work in May and requested my phone service be activated. First, I found that I was DISCONNECTED for NON PAYMENT. However, I had called their inept Customer Service Representatives and was informed that they would handle the temporary turn off. Then I paid the bill, only to find my service interrupted BEFORE the end of May 2005.
Their reason for "DISCONNECTION" was NON PAYMENT for the month of April 2005. It appears that when I made the payment that was due, they DEBITED my account for the month the phone was OFF. I kept sending emails and making phone calls to no avail. I asked them do they offer a plan or make arrangements for LONG TERM customers. I have had my service for over five (5) years and was treated like a total DEBTOR!
I called today to their customer service (800) number and was told I reached collections and needed to call back for customer service. Unfortunately, each time I called I was automatically forwarded to COLLECTIONS. I then asked for a manager and was told NO SUPERVISOR or MANAGER was available. They told me I could continue to HOLD but I had been on hold for over 30 minutes with NO customer Service Supervisor or Manager coming to the phone.
I then threatened to CANCEL my account and was told "that was my choice and no skin of the rep's nose! "You can't talk to a real person who KNOWS the job and you can't speak to anyone in "CUSTOMER SERVICE" who can HELP "KEEP" their customers. With so many cellular companies out there, you would think Sprint would like to KEEP customers who have had long term accounts. However, I was informed that in so many words, NOBODY cares "HOW" the customer feels. JUST PAY YOU BILL, PAY FOR THE MONTHS THE PHONE IS OFF and PAY NOW!!!
You can't even get an address for the corporate office from any of the representatives. They act like NOBODY works in an office that has any authority. I actually work next door to the Corporate Office in Los Angeles and could not even get anyone to give me an address to "WHO" should answer these pertinent questions??
If you have SPRINT and your plan is almost UP, DO NOT RENEW. GET A NEW SERVICE. DON'T GET BURNED! They merge with Nextel in less than 90 days and I'm scared Nextel service will be just as bad.

I, too am living the Sprint nightmare! I'll give the full version later. I went into A Sprint store to purchase the new iPhone that Sprint just became a carrier for. They had a huge poster advertising the IPhone 4S and a display of only one iPhone. So I assume that iPhone is the new one (I'm not very technology savvy). I received an iPhone 4 and didn't realize it until after I took the iPhone apple workshop. I would love for you to share the president of Sprints fax #, snail mail address and any other contact information so that the rest of us could get hold of him and allow him to see that we're not the enemy! We are customers that have been loyal and would like some customer svice from them. Thanks

We've been with Sprint for several years now, and we have been very happy with them. I'm not understanding why others are having issues with them. They've always been great with us, we ahve great service, they were awesome when I needed their help with our account when my sister died, and when ever I've had to make payment arrangements. So, I'm really not understanding why there are some who have issues with Sprint. I can't see ever leaving them. And no, I don't work for them. Wish I did, I could sure use the income.

After contacting almost everyone at the executive offices my new phone which had broken befor the rebate was received, was replaced! Also attached is a copy of the email, just changed the name for each exec.!

I am writing to express my disappointment with the services provided by Sprint PCS. My disappointment has only been multiplied by your employees obvious lack of concern for customer satisfaction or lack of "customer service."
My family has been Sprint customers for 3-4 years now. We currently have 5 lines of service. I am a Manager for (name omitted for privacy) and have encouraged my employees to employ Sprint as their cellular carrier. I have personally referred many friends and relatives to your company.
I purchased a new cellular unit on about May 2, 2005. It became completely nonfunctional on Tuesday, June 14. I am not satisfied with your company policy of not replacing a new phone with a new phone.
I recently purcahsed a new car, and would be very unsatisfied if my car suddenly stopped working and the dealership advised me they would only replace it with a used car.
As I have attempted to resolve this issue I have met with uncaring, uninterested employees at Sprint. It is my understanding that this is their training and this is your policy. I have attempted to obtain a phone number or address for a corporate or regional office where I could voice my dissatisfaction and have been told that none exist.
I am contacting you for help in resolving this issue before contacting the Better Business Bureau.
I would hate to leave a company I have been loyal to, that I have brought my friends, family and business associates to.
Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to future correspondence in regards to this situation,

I am in HELL dealing with SPRINT's unethical activity - saga has been going on for 1 1/2 years- flat out ridiculous
rec'd two phones/line one year agreement via phone - being held hostage to two years.
Free upgrade on my main phone in 4/04 "because" I was long time privileged customer - no strings... just send in rebate - wrong. 2yr commitment. got co sales rep to change contract to 0 and go not rebate (cost me $150)...
the list goes on and on... never again!
been thru the ringer with SPRINT customer service which sucks...
I'd like to get the CEO/President to send him a fax with a trail of my poor experience... I'm being held hostage... I'm appalled by SPRINT CRM... I have never had such poor service in my life. I need action... Debra - Did you get action that was satisfactory?
Is it possible to get information?

Yesterday, I sent the letter to Sprint PCS President, Gary Forsee. I faxed his office, emailed him as well as sent an email to his cellular phone.
This morning I got a response as follows:

I have had the same problem when i asked sprint rep. for the corporate office,the corporate offices tells sprint rep. not to give out their information to customer's why do you think sprint is if getting away with their fraudulent practices i have been a sprint customer sense 11/02 & i have been ripped off bye sprint bye them selling me a phone that would fail me later & would not honor the warrenty that i had purchased from sprint at a radio shack store sprint would not honor the warrenty because i had purchased the phone from radio shack & radio shack made me purchase a sprint warrenty & when i needed to use the warrenty sprint would not replace my defective phone for a new one.I am considering not renewing my phone for 2006 i do not need to belong to a place that does not care about customer's sprint as been nothing but trouble from the very beginning,sprint also charged me for roaming charges when i am not in an roaming area sprint does not honor their warrenty's & i have made a bad mistake when i went with sprint 4 years ago,sprint is just in it to make money from people & rip-off as many people they can.I will never again purchase anything from radio shack from how they ripped me off & they know how they treated me i was ripped of $200,& upset & hot i was treated bye sprint about them failing to honor the phones warrenty.
