Sprint has poor quality service!
I can certainly sympathize with all the complaints posted about Sprint. I believe the problem with Sprint is untrained employees that don't know anything about putting information in the computer data.
Every time my husband or I call Sprint for a "change in service" nine times out of ten Sprint's customer service representative order request completely wrong! My last episode that teed my husband and me off was when I called Sprint and asked that the phone line to my pc be cancelled/disconnected. I emphasized that I did NOT want to cancel my main phone line that we have had for over 25 years.
The Sprint customer service representative kept me on the phone for half an hour and finally said that she had the order request down and that pc phone line would be disconnected in a few days. I re-emphasized that I do not want both phone lines disconnected. She reassured me that the request was accurate.
A few days later I woke up to no telephone service at all. You guessed it! The illiterate employee at Sprint screwed up the order and cancelled both phone lines. I used a neighbor's phone to call Sprint that morning and complain to supervision about what happened and told him that such ordeal should not be overlooked. He stated that the employee would be reprimanded and that my phone service would be restored in a few short hours. Well 4:30PM I checked the phone-no dial tone. Around 6:PM I called Sprint and complained again and the customer service person told me the order for phone service was in their system to be turned on by 8:PM. Needless to say, after 8:PM still no phone service.
The next morning-no phone service! My husband decided to go over Sprint's head and called CONSUMER AFFAIRS 1(800) 292-9191, who are there to help the consumer with Unresolved Problems with telephone companies. They were so nice and understanding and our phone service was restored in just two hours! Give them a call the next time Sprint tries to pull one over on you. Yes, some of them are rude, but most of them are just plain lazy and ignorant! Where is Sprint personnel hiring these dummies that are ruining the telephone company's reputation?!
