Just like so many others, I have been a victim of Stamps.com's interesting way of making money with their so called "valid charges." I signed up for the free trial, never used the service, and have been charged 15.99 for 7 months. I called to complain, and they promised to refund for 4 of those months. I will report again if I see a refund on my credit card statement.
Beware, they do not send statements when they charge your card each month.
