I consider myself a fairly literate individual. I very carefully read stamps.com's webpages and it was not clear that the company was setting me up to regularly take money from my account.

I used the service ONCE to purchase some postage. I paid for the postage immediately.

Stamps.com then used my credit card information to regularly siphon money out of my account, while providing me with absolutely NO service.

I am sure they somehow snuck it into their wording that they were going to do this... so as to avoid lawsuits. But I was looking for an indication that they were planning on doing that and did not discern it.

They took literally HUNDREDS of dollars out of my account over months and months.

As far as I am concerned, any company who has to resort to tricks like that to earn money must have a very poor product indeed.

I would avoid them like the plague and purchase postage from legitimate sources.
