I am confirming many of the facts stated by Nicole and can state that the 6-8 month "turnkey" operation is well beyond its 3rd year with my family members making more progress than Bruce or Martin. I was HIT-UP several times for extra money (big bucks $$$$ - or "we will issue a stop work order"), asked to sign contracts that did NOT specify an end price (refused to sign them - got outside bids from contractors with real prices not inflated or "open"), repeatedly had contractors show up unprepared (Didn't know ya had high ceilings or needed a vent moved.), and problems -leaking joints, mold - were ignored or not re-mediated properly. The only changes in the options list (for items I paid extra) were the ones Statewide didn't read before doing the "standard job" instead of the one EXPRESSLY stated in the contract, To detail adequately All the problems, I should write a book. These are the TRUE FACTS regarding Statewide's operating procedures. The fact is, House is shrewd when he says there are no complaints (that are accessible to the general public) concerning their business practices because he knows there are non-disclosure statements on all settlements made. Whether the AG of NJ is investigating Statewide remains to be determined. If I were starting this process again, I would NOT choose Statewide. If you are already involved and encountering problems, LET THE SUNSHINE IN - help to destroy the shroud of SECRECY and prevent others from falling victim, report your problem.
