Stevie Alexandra Datz Claimed her child had leukemia to scam coworkers out of money Atlanta Ga

Stevie worked with me for only a few months when she told our entire office a very compelling story about being a single mom and her only child was flown to Children’s Hospital and in a coma. We took up cash donations for her and a couple weeks later, she claimed he was diagnosed with leukemia. People donated PTO time to her, gave cash, someone set up a GoFundMe for her and it collected over $1400 before her scam was exposed. She made the entire story up. She didn’t even have custody of her child. He was never sick. She seemed to have no remorse whatsoever. It was really appalling how detailed her lies were. She even had people call the office claiming to be from the hospital and asked to speak with her. She ran this con for almost 2 months before she was exposed. After speaking with a former coworker of hers from the previous company, she apparently conned their office as well out of donations for a different drama. She also told her former coworker at the previous company she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I believe she is a sociopath. She has zero remorse and zero class.
