It may take the FBI a while to track down these scammers as a litte research shows they are hiding pretty well. An Internet search shows the IP address is owned by a "Bruce Blundell" of Australia but there are also ties to Malaysia, Vietnam and other countries as well. Eventually, they will be shutdown but for now, DO NOT PAY THESE hucksters a penny.

As someone has already described here in Rip-off Report, stinkylist.com (formerly "thestinkylist.org" and likely otheres), lists names, email addresses, phone numbers and other information of men and women who supposedly had contact with an escort. This has proven to be, in many cases, false. It's a clear case of defamation but a lawyer will tell you, it would be expensive, time consuming and maybe even impossible for a non-law enforcement individual to find these crooks and bring them to justice. The website will instruct you to visit a third-party agency ("phoenixinvestigation.com"--no doubt run by the same people) to get your name removed. This will cost you between $425 and $1,200. Chances are, your name will NOT come down after you pay or it will come down only for a short period, until the scammers start another website. 

For now, people who find themselves on this list should report it to the FBI, and wait it out until the FBI or another law agency brings them down.

The FBI HAS issued a warning about this type of scam in the past but it obviously has not yet got to these particular crooks, as they just began this scam in October of 2013. The more reports the FBI receives on stinkylist.org, the more likely these hucksters will be dealt with soon.
