This company is Fradulently billing me multiple times during the month, and this has been ongoing since I originated service with them in June 2003.
I originated service with Straight2you in June, spoke to a sales person on the phone and was in agreement to pay $29.95/month for ISP services for ISDN line in my home. Received a confirmation letter from Mr. Cundiff, thanking me for my business. That's when all the problems started.
My first bill I was Charged $49.95 (3) seperate times on my credit card. The only way to contact someone is by email at billing@straight2you.net. Tried this with no response for several weeks. Finally, received a response from Mr. Cundiff, stating credits had been issued and correct billing taken care of also.
I Checked my credit card statement prior to receipt and found that nothing had been done, except another charge for $49.95 and one for $49.00 for some unknown reason. After a heated email leaving my phone number I actually received a phone call from Mr. Cundiff. He agreed to credit (3) $49.95 charges and the $49.00 Charge, then charge me $29.95 for 2 months service June and July of 2003, which would have been correct.
My July Credit card statement had these, the 2 $29.95 charges, and a charge for $69.95 for which I have yet to get a response as to why and have yet to get a credit for.
As of 7/31/2003 I have been charged $408.60 by Straight2you, Credited $198.95 . Actual serviced for May through August 2003, at $29.95, should have totaled $119.80, I'm still due $89.95 for being over charged.
I have sent email after email, since the end of July 2003 with the only response asking for my number to contact me on 8/20/2003, and accuse me my service being used for business since I attempt to contact these people from my work email, listed above.
Now, I have been billed $29.95 (3) times this month, 10/8, 10/14, and 10/21.
I wonder how many other people are being fradulently overbilled like this and do nothing about it. I'm beyond mad now, and hope I can assist any athority, FCC or someone in bringing charges for Fraud against this Company.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Reason for Overcharges
AUTHOR: Anthony - (U.S.A.)

Brent,
After multiple conversations with you in the past, the reason you were overcharges is because you violated the terms of service by using a personal account for business purposes.
The person who signed you up asked you if this was for business or personal use. You did tell him that it was for personal use, not business use. Emails to coworkers are not considered business use, but VPN is. If you are not using VPN, then someone has your account information, and if you are allowing someone to use your account, this is a direct violation of our terms of service.
System logs showed otherwise. They showed you were using this to enter your work computer via VPN which is not allowed on the home use plan. This was explained to you 3x.
I did agree to charge you the 29.95, until you continued to use the service for business purposes.
The charges in October were refunded on October 23rd 2003. That was an error on our part, and you were notified of this by email 5x during the course of the month. This email was sent to your email account at straight2you. If you do not use that account, I am sorry, but our system generates emails out, and sends them directly to the username on file.
Also, whem you send emails to us, 90% of the time it comes in looking like gibberish. It might be the email client your using. When sending us email, try using a different piece of software, so we can try to respond to them in a timely fashion.
