Striaex--Nuance Cosmetics Vancouver BC Disceptive Trade Practice Vancouver British Columbia

On June 19, 2009, I ordered Striaex's Free Trial scar ointment and eye cream. My credit card was charged $5.90 for the free trial - no risk, no obligation 1 oz. cream. I received the free trial (1 oz.) scar ointment, but not the eye cream.

On July 23, 2009, I was contacted by Transworld Systems, Inc., a collection agency, stating they were calling me about a past due account with Striaex. I told them that Nuance Cosmetics charged my account for the shipping and handling of the free trial offer and that I DO NOT owe Nuance Cosmetics any more money. The woman who called me stated that I did not return the product within 30 days, therefore, I owed Nuance Cosmetics the money for the free trial scar ointment. I told her I DID NOT owe any monies and hung up the phone.

No where in the free trial offer did it mention I would have to pay for the free trial 1 oz bottle if I did not return it within 30 days. Also when I went through the check out process, there was NEVER a disclaimer that I had to agree to return the free trial offer product within 30 days or pay the full price for the free trial product.

I would never had ordered the free trial product if I thought I had to (1)
return the unused product within 30 days or (2) be charged additional monies for the free trial offer product.

This company is truly practicing deceptive trade and should be shut down immediately for fraud. I am writing a letter to the Texas Attorney General and also sending letters to the local news stations. Maybe someone can STOP this deceptive trade practice that Nuance Cosmetics is perpetuating on innocent consumers.
