I was unemployed and looking for work.  I found an ad on Criagslist.org for Studypool.com.  The ad said Studypool was hiring tutors to work from home via the internet.  The requirements said that the ideal candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree, have prior teaching experience, and have broadand internet access, Microsoft Word, and Skpe.   They also claimed that tutors could set thier own hours and make $30.00 per hour plus tips and bonuses.  They said they paid daily via Paypal deposit.   So, I applied.   Less than ten minutes later, I got an email saying I was hired.  The email provided a link to their webpage and instructions on how to set up my tutor profile and account.   I entered all of the information.  Within an hour, I had my first live Skype tutooring session with a student.   The session lasted five hours.

The next morning, I attempted to withdraw my $150.00 to my Paypal account.   Studypool said I could not withdraw any funds until I had completed ten tutoring jobs.  I worked hard answering questions and working with students for the next 16 hours.  I completed 14 more questions and tutoring jobs, during that time.  The next day, I tried to withdraw that money into my Paypal account.  Studypool would not allow me to do so.   They said they needed my birthdate, social security number, and mother's maiden name  for tax purposes.  I provided the information.  The next day, Studypool said they were releasing my funds to my Paypal account within 3 business days.   I continued to work for them, working 16 hours days for the next 3 days.  I answered a total of 189 questions for students and did live tutoring session via skype.  The day my earnings were due to arrive in my Paypal account, my earnings did not arrive.  I contacted studypool via email.  No response.  I looked their phone number up online and called them.  I got voicemail saying,  "You have reached Robert. Please leave a messgae."  I left a message.   I did not get a return phone call.  The next morning, I recieved an email from Studypool saying my tutor account had been suspended  for an overdue answer and I would not be paid ever.   All of my answers were submitted before the deadline.  None were overdue.  I can prove it.   They had no reason to suspend my account other than I started complaining and making waves about not getting paid. Someone please help me get my money I earned.  Thanks.
